I have a love for sunsets =]
Anytime I see one I have to take a picture, there is such a beauty to them.

This picture was when I was in Studio City, I walked out of a store and this was right smack in my face.










This is a sunset I took a picture I took while I was in Palm Springs in the beginning of January.

Amazon is opening a Kindle app store!

Amazon is going forth with opening an App store for the new Kindle device. It is a reading device that stores numerous amounts of books in one! They are going to allow third party developers to design apps. They say there might be app's for games, books with interactive quizes and even calculators.
Sounds pretty awesome :P

Surfer Profile: Joan Duru

Joan Duru is a pretty cool 20 year old surfer from France. He is currently the European champ but sadly missed out on qualifying for the 2010 ASP World Tour by one spot! =[ He just recently signed with volcom. There is more info about him on his website Joanduru.com.

The Purple Paper

My friend Dru and I are starting a newspaper for our school. We feel that because we have such an interesting school with new events going on all the time, we should have a paper that keeps students and faculty up to date.






Right now we are in the process of letting students apply for different positions and explain why they should be a part of our project. Hopefully we can keep it an ongoing tradition at champs once we graduate in 2 years.

Recent blast Of Nicholas Sparks

Writer of The Notebook, Nicholas Sparks is becoming more known for his other pieces of work. At the same time, both "Dear John" and "The Last Song" were made into movies. It seems like all of his stories have the same idea of first love or just a feeling of strong love.

"Dear John" comes into theaters on February 5th

"The Last Song" is supposed to release April 2nd

HELP HAITI

On January 12th, Haiti was hit by a life-changing earthquake. It was the worst earthquake in about 200 years. Most of the capital was reduced to rubble.

Good Little Rides

After watching a video of the waves in Medulin in the Adriatic Sea I want to go there now. The waves are nice sized to go and just get small practice on. It looks like a great place to learn how to surf, and the beach doesnt look crowded like most other beaches.

Winter Break Adventures

This winter break I took a lot of pictures in different places. My dad goes on weekly hikes at Tree People park right off of Laurel Canyon. I went one day and got a lot of awesome- different angle pictures. I also went to palm springs with my mom. We went to the Living Desert and I got a lot of pictures of the animals there. =D
