Second Hand Smoke for MACS?

Two Mac users were saying that their apple care warranties were voided due to constant smoke in the house. Apple was telling them that their Mac is malfunctioning because of the smoke. Man that sucks!

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Last night on HBO was The 25th Anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I didn't get to see the whole show because it went really late, but what I saw was amazing! I find it really cool that Crosby, Stills and Nash can still perform at their best same with Paul Simon. Hopefully HBO will replay i so i can tape it and watch the whole thing. A concert like this is really good to have because not all the performers will be around forever.

cutting Jobs at AOL? uhoh

The company at AOL is asking 2,500 workers to voluntarily "walk the plank" and leave the company. AOL is going to be going through a reconstruction which is why they need less employees to continue. They say that those who volunteer will get a larger severance package then those who later on get laid off.
*also, AOL is also going to be selling Mapquest to Microsoft.
Wow they are going through a lot of changes!

The Drifter

Rob Machado traveled to Indonesia in the summer of 2008 to experience a new kind of surf trip. He went alone to be with his own thoughts. The trailer for this movie looks very inspiring because Rob describes that what he went through on this trip and it really made him realize that he will never stop dreaming. I am dying to see this movie because it might help me inspire to not give up on what i really want to do.

People have gon Droid crazy!

Verizon just came out with a new phone that customers have gone crazy for! In its first week of being sold, over 250,00 phones were sold! This motorola phone is compared to the iPhone because it uses a touch screen and apps. I have seen a few commercials promoting the droid phone where it shows a man with an iPhone never getting any service. They say that Verizon has way more service and so the Droid wins over the iPhone.

Mr. Bieber makes an Appearence!

Justin Bieber (teenage girl heartthrob) performed a free concert at Universal Citywalk yesterday November 17th . Yesterday was also the day his new album "My World" debuted. I didnt get a chance to go but I heard from all of my friends that it was sooooooo packed to a point where you couldnt even move. Justin Bieber is a 15 year old cutie from Canada and was discovered by Usher on youtube! crazzy huh? He would always do Usher cover songs and that is how he was spotted.
There were screaming fans that were at Universal since 5am waiting for a 6pm performance. Stardom came to him very fast!

This is crazy--the MPAA now wants to control people when they are at home. This new technology is selectable output control; it is supposed to block viewers from illegal copying.(piracy)

Canon vs. Nikon?

I am torn. I am looking for a DSLR camera but don't know which is better; Canon or Nikon.
Both companies were the first to switch from film to digital, making that crazy leap. It is kinda funny, when one company announces a new camera, the other company will come out with a new camera a few months later. I am going to keep researching but think eventually it will come down to preference and what I have used in the past.
